Vortex Aerial Arts is Vermilion's first pole fitness and aerial arts studio. We make aerial arts accessible to everyone. no experience or specific fitness level required. Just an open mind, a willingness to try something new, and a community that celebrates every body.

A 4 week beginner series. your entry point into pole fitness. Learn foundational grips, basic spins, and beginner floor work in a supportive, judgment free environment. No experience needed. Must complete the series before joining Level 1.
Prerequisites: None! This class is designed for absolute beginners of all fitness levels.
4 Week Series · $89Level up your flow. Now that you have your feet under you, we introduce basic climbing, more complex floor to pole transitions, and the foundational strength for sitting and staying on the pole.
Prerequisites: Completion of Intro Series or ability to perform intro skills with proper technique (front hook, pirouette, climb/prep etc) and understanding of grips.
BeginnerElevate your foundations and move beyond the basics. This level focuses on mastering climbs, secure sits, and continuing your beginner trick vocabulary. We emphasize building "three points of contact" for safety and stability, while utilizing specialized drills to prep your body for clean, controlled inversions.
Prerequisites: Confident execution of foundation spins on both sides. Ability to hold a strong hold with knees to chest for 5 seconds. Ability to pole sit with legs extended.
ElementaryFocus on complex tricks, extended combos, and creative transitions designed for students with strong foundational technique. Exploring 3 point contact moves while inverted.
Prerequisites: Must perform a clean aerial invert and hold stable leg hangs. This level is for students who can invert but are not yet holding handsprings.
IntermediateThe highest level. This class focuses on mastering power moves and intricate transitions with two points of contact. We explore high level skills like the Ayesha, Handspring, and Cocoon.
Prerequisites: A solid, controlled ayesha/aerial invert. Ability to link multiple moves together.
AdvancedA fun, safe introduction to aerial arts for young students ages 5 and up. Build coordination, strength, and confidence through age appropriate aerial activities.
Youth · Ages 5+A graceful movement class that blends aerial technique, musicality, transitions, and expressive flow for students who want to build confidence in the air.
Coming SoonSupported stretching, balance, decompression, and mindful movement using aerial hammocks. A welcoming option for students who want a gentler aerial experience.
Coming SoonGround-based core, mobility, and strength work designed to support pole, aerial, and everyday movement. No aerial experience required.

For kids who are not attending camp, Vortex will onboard two groups every 6 weeks through the Kids Intro to Aerial program, also called After School Aerials.
This after school intro series meets once a week for 6 weeks and introduces students to aerial arts. After completing the series, students can book the weekly Saturday morning class for further training.
After completing the Kids Intro to Aerial series, students can continue with ongoing Saturday morning classes:
