Everything you need to know before your first class.

If you've never tried pole before, start with Intro to Pole. No experience or specific fitness level required. Once you're comfortable with basic spins and grips, you'll move into Level 1. From there, your instructor will help guide you to the next level as your skills develop. Kids ages 5+ can join our Kids Aerial class.
Wear something that exposes the inner thighs, backs of the knees, and armpits. Avoid clothing with zippers, buttons, rivets, or embellishments that could scratch the pole. Remove all jewelry before class, including rings, bracelets, and necklaces.
Bring water and a yoga mat for the warm up. Do not apply lotions, oils, or moisturizers on the day of class. They make the pole slippery and can be unsafe.
Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes early for your first class so we can get you checked in, review your waiver, and show you around the studio. For returning students, arriving 5 minutes early is plenty.
Yes! Pole fitness is for all fitness levels. You don't need to be strong before you start. That's exactly what Intro to Pole is for. You'll build strength progressively, and your instructor will offer modifications so every student can participate fully. The strength comes with the practice.
